Teaching at Arizona State University

I have been serving as a Teaching Assistant for the School of Computing and Augmented Intelligence at Arizona State University, supporting undergraduate courses in programming, data structures, and theoretical computer science since Fall 2023.

Spring 2026

  • CSE450: Design and Analysis of Algorithms: Invited directly by Professor Daymude to help teach this course—arguably the best and most complex class in the undergrad CS curriculum—based on my performance teaching CSE355. Guided students through cutting-edge algorithmic concepts, helping them move beyond basic breadth-first search pathfinding to implement advanced solutions like flow conservation principles for complex network simulations.

Fall 2025

  • CSE355: Theoretical Computer Science: Focused on bringing a fresh approach to breaking down highly abstract theoretical concepts and make them actually click for students.

Fall 2024 & Spring 2025

  • CSE205: Object Orientation, Data Structures and Algorithms: Continued support as TA, facilitated lab exercises on advanced data structures, and assisted with exam preparation workshops.

Spring 2024

  • CSE205: Object Orientation, Data Structures and Algorithms (Lead TA): Promoted to Lead Teaching Assistant; managed creation of review materials, coordinated a team of 40+ UGTAs and tutors, and developed YouTube playlist tutorials that garnered over 70,000 views.

Fall 2023

  • FSE404: Engineering Projects in Community Service: Assisted students in project planning, provided guidance on community-oriented engineering challenges, and evaluated project deliverables.
  • CSE110: Introduction to Programming in Java: Conducted weekly discussion sections, held office hours, and assisted labs to reinforce fundamental Java programming concepts.
  • CSE205: Object Orientation, Data Structures and Algorithms: Assisted lab sessions on object-oriented design and algorithm implementation, and provided feedback on programming projects.
